Mine booked in at Guy Salmon of Knutsford at end of (25th) Sept. Can't get earlier due to my work commitments. They say they will need it for the whole day due to awkwardness of job but will loan me a courtesy car. Previous cars:
S-Max 2007-2013 (only diesel I've had, good car but expensive when diesely bits go wrong, so what's the point?)
Galaxy 2001-2007
Mondeo Estate 1997-2001
Sierra Estate 1993-1997
Uno Turbo 1987 -1993
Fiesta 1984 - 1987
Fiat 127 1982 - 1984

Just so your all aware, there is a possibility the brake bleed nipples won’t budge! Especially on Brembo callipers!

Just to pre warn forum members Whistle

If it were me, i would expect for JLR to pay for new ones BUT.......

Had mine done today, on the UK car I brought back last trip, no fuss waited 5 days for parts, had the car all day

when I picked it up this evening was told my battery was a bit weak and the starter solanoid was packing up (been taking a couple of turns of the key to start)

quoted $1600 for a new starter motor

so all in all good service, although they could have given the old girl a wash........

I was getting a bit jealous but my letter arrived this morning. Ryan had already confirmed that my vehicle was affected by the recall and suggested I just ring the Main Dealer however letter arrived before I got round to it. I'll have to get round to it now, also need a service and an MOT - been saving up Rolling with laughter Geoff

forgot to add that i had my dashcam on when a pair of mechanics took mine for its test run after the hose fitting and it was surprisingly very quiet except for ''is this a diesel''.....''no its a supercharged'' , then silence.. Twisted Evil ... - .- -.

Took mine in this morning at 8am, collected it at 11:30am, checked with torch and can see nice shiny hoses on the front.
The garage also did a complimentary Health Check, (nothing found), offered to wash it for me and vacuumed,
also checked the Exhaust Trims (Q387 Exhaust trim finisher). Not replaced, iv'e been polishing them like mad and they look in pretty good condition inside.
They also provided me with a quotation for a 3 year service plan ie: either one off payment or 30 monthly payments.
The above work done by Main Dealer Lancaster Land Rover Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
