Those are specifically bi-xenons though. As there are 3 types one must be careful not to confuse them. |

I'd only buy them if they were a super deal - they may not work after all. |

They look good, but at night I keep trying to flick to main beam only to discover that it's already on |

I was under the impression that all facelift lights were bi-xenons (which is why often simply the term 'xenon' is used).

From Microcat 2002-2009 there are 74 part numbers for the headlights! Obviously divide that by 2 for left/right that still gives 37 variations!

Pre-facelift had the 3 different headlight options. I was under the impression that they had done away with the sillyness post facelift. I'm going to check next time I stop by the dealer - I'd like to know if this was available through MY09... Dave, aftermarket xenons? I read a post a while back where someone labeled them as something like 'illegal, obnoxious, and ghetto'. Dan - that is strange. All the other lights I've seen or seen pics of have the part #'s right on the sticker you've pictured and they often end in LPO as in your pic... I'll see if I can check my lights in the next couple of days. Maybe I can identify and photograph the shutter solenoid easily - you could then just look and see if it's there in yours. RRC 2Dr, RRC 4Dr, P38, and 2 L322s (wife thinks I'm nuts - prob right, too) |
