Timing chain guides, possibly. Have a search for that. Bmw engines are susceptible to degradation and disintegration of the plastic guide. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Don't buy it, timing chain or Vanos gone due to not enough oil changes, cost a fortune to fix.... plenty more out there..... Pete

I agree. Loads of choice out there. Spend a bit of time finding the right one. I ummed and arredd over mine for 4 weeks or more.
