Got Rangey back from the bodyshop, and gave it a good clean. Dents in door and front wing repaired and resprayed. Very pleased with the result

Whilst it was in, I took the opportunity to have the scuffed front bumper resprayed and stone chips filled in on the bonnet.

Changed the transfer box oil.

Cursed a bit at the rear diff, the filler appears to be a 13mm hex, my oil drain plug tools are 12 or 14mm, missing out 13mm.

The drain is 14mm, the front diff appears to be 14mm on both too.

Had a poke round whilst it was on the ramp, few bits of rust and a few bits to straighten out underneath. Should keep me busy for the summer.

Picked up and delivered the spaceframe chassis for my uni Formula Student team. That was a tight fit! (and quite nerve wracking as it has lots of sharp brackets etc just waiting to rip the headlining or seatbacks if incorrectly manhandled!)

Today I fitted a reverse camera, parrot bluetooth and digital tv to my 2004 vogue.

well impressed and all in was 400 quid fitted

Went to a photo shoot for Nutz About Landrovers and ended up rescuing a 90's who's two week old clutch failed.
The incline I needed to pull it up I wasn't sure I'd make it back up on my own never mind with a kitted 90 on a strap but I made it and the 90 lads were very impressed it did it without much fuss.

Good day and very very dusty at the site and clay where it was still moist under foot so I gave the rangey a good hose off when I got back and maybe a wash tomorrow.

It was for a calendar and most there were disco 1's or 90/110 with the only other being a shogun which wasn't involved in the shoot 😄😄

Some pics attached, although at one point there were 7 of them draping themselves over the car but I just left them to it and the mud fun at the end!

Serviced the Rangey a few weeks ago, and had the gearbox serviced a month ago, so with a spare bit of time I thought I'd finish off the preventative maintenance schedule by changing the F&R diff oils and transfer box oil. Drain plug on the front diff was awkward to get at because of the subframe getting in the way, all the rest was easy. Little bit of swarf on each magnet, but nout major.

Paid for our new car yesterday. Test drove it and all was good.

Just waiting on the garage checking out the front discs to see if they'll swap them.

Dealer delivering due to the distance hopefully Tuesday or Wednesday.
