rob..... you cant get any better than the bi-xenons on yours ..as you know when you put your lights on high beam , a flap goes up and makes the dipped into high beams..the halogens are only there for show and flashing other motorists , and when in high beam only 10 volts goes to them...as DAN says if you want bluer light then replace the bulbs to 6000k ones [OE is 4300k] .....if you really want more light then spots are the only answer ,but then that would spoil the look of the front.. ... - .- -. I must admit that I had adaptive Bixenons on the RRs with the additional driving lights, which gave a great range on the country roads round here. I don't know what difference there is with the FFRR headlights but I haven't found their range to be less than the combined driving lights and main beam headlights of the RRS. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

Are you sure they're working properly? It's not factory wiring, after all. I'd check the wiring and the adjustment. My facelift Xenons are fine. I don't know if they're much better than the earlier xenons, but they work as well or better than any other xenons I've driven with. Can you hear the shutter when switching between main and dip beam? No, because they are xenons not bi-xenons. If you have a shutter you have bi-xenons. |

If a Xenon lamp has a slightly pink tinge to it that is also a sign that it is getting near to failing 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |
