I mounted mine here - it's to the left but seems a wide enough field of vision & I can't see it

No way was I touching the trim in my RR Autobiography, so I used eric at www.dashwitness.com and he arranged the Blackvue cam and a very professional specialist fitting service who came to the house and did it. Discount on the car insurance now, yippee!! |

I moved it down and in a bit yesterday - I was picked my up too much of the blacked out area - it was clear enough, just irritated me - if I moved it more to the passenger side I lost the drivers corner of the bonnet

nice install Alistair, I did a similar thing on my old L322 (the wire was a bit more difficult to route) but I was dreading doing it on my 405 thinking the trim was going to be a lot more fiddly to get off....and of course breaking something on my new pride and joy |

On the positive side you are road legal if you have one with a visible screen as you aren't supposed to be able to view them on the move I understand. I have mine mounted behind the rear view mirror for that reason. |
