When i rebuilt my transmission i replaced the cooler and the pipes to be safe, mine is an 04 4.4.

I only changed mine so I knew the complete system was replaced. They are unlikely to fail, my concern was they may have been blocked with sludge but if you are flushing you should be fine.

Yes.. everything will be removed and cleaned. A bit worried about the snap-on connections. But they they might be able to replace just the tube and connectors on the original pipes. |

My pipes were stuck fast onto the cooler as they are like you say the push fit connections, but they may be able to shift them. i had just stripped and rebuilt the entire transmission with bearing and plates and all sorts so i thought i dont want to be back in here for a long time so changed it all, well my credit card did..........

Vibration could be torque converter but it should be locked up fully at around that speed.

Naw.. Itīs more of a driveline vibration(slower). Nothing Iīm going to worry about right now |

Check your brake disc temperatures to see if they are similar all round after a short run. John

Issues with vibrations seems to have been tire related as itīs gone after switching to Michelin Latitude Sports.

Itīs at a garage, they only replace with OEM or equivalent parts.
