Very common here for obvious reasons , do the job but look crappy and get baggy quickly. Best seen flapping around on the rear windows of a 15 year old Holden commodore  2008 MY Supercharged

I am not the sort of persom to spend good money having my windows tinted but since mine had them already when I bought it I do actually like it and it does have benefits as some have already said so am quite happy to leave it!!

Cam-Tech-Craig - what level of tint did you have in your SL? Was talking with Chris of TT about this when he did the RR and he recommended the very dark but I'm wondering if I'll see anything out of the rear as it seems quite dark already. 17 MY Corris Grey 4.4 VAB

Rear window was done quite dark and the side 4 windows in the lightest possible just to take the glare away at night... On a black SL the rear window looked really good

I'll leave the brake lights alone, but I do like the AMG rear lights. Might have to get them, or imitate them.
