I don't like tints, the 4.2 had the factory tints and even in Nigeria it made the car too dark. So when I was looking for my next FFRR I looked for one without tints and I love it. Our little runabout in Malaysia is also tintless (apart from the "standard" solar reflective tint used here but you hardly see that) and I prefer it. Especially over here they tend to put really dark tints on and I hate driving those cars. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Just a thought on privacy glass / tints, chap I work with has an Audi Q7 which had privacy glass fitted, just before Christmas he had gone to Manchester to wact a football match. He had parked in a 'secure' car park but when he came out after the game all the rear windows (side and tailgate) had been smashed by someone using house bricks.

When he reported it to the Police they told him that thieves are targetting cars with privacy glass because they assume that there is stuff worth stealing, and because they cant easily see into the car they just smash the windows.

His car was a lease car but it cost over 11 grand to have the windows repaired, damaged paintwork fixed and the leather interior repaired where the broken glass had damaged the leather!

He is now due to pick up an Audi RS6 but without privacy glass!!

Well i have only had the tints for a week (and like them) but a huge downside has reared it's in the form of my 4 year old who decided to firstly use his toy disney car to scratch the tint and then use his fingers to peel the tint off Laughing

Now i covet my wife's xc90's privacy glass

Two mistakes! A, football & B, parking in Manchester! Says it all when they have to smash all your windows to check inside! Braindead!!! Rolling Eyes
