Is it possible to change the wood inserts?

Say I found a FFRR that was perfect other than the interior wood inserts were that frightful bright orange wood (not the nice one, the BRIGHT orange colour) how hard/possible is it to change the colour of them to the piano black etc? Or would it be a mammoth task having to strip the car to tiny bits?

for example:

if only that was piano black Confused

I actually like the cherry wood against the black interior. Shocked Discovery 4 HSE

I don't mind the colour combination.

My ideal interior colour would have been the ivory leather but a 2 year old rules that colour out

what do you think it would cost to change the whole interior inserts from wood to piano black on a 2013 autobiography? Found one my ideal spec, other than wooden inserts instead of the black piano

Exactly what I did with my L322 Thumbs Up

it cost me £500 to get the wood taken out, lacquered black & re-fitted.

Errr... Always good to remove the wood, and replace with something that looks like plastic.....

Seriously though, joking aside, many have had theirs covered with successful results.

I'd have liked cherry instead of walnut with my Ivory interior, but the walnuts not too bad. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
