Also it's low on fuel at the moment around 60 miles left so don't know if that could be the cause ? Crud at the bottom of the tank ? Range Rover Vogue 2006 4.4 AJV8 | Buckingham Blue | Parchment Leather | Supercharged Grill+Side Vents | CA02 HEY ( NOT 02 PLATE )

i seem to remember that this kind of problem arises if you hav less than 1/4 tank of fuel, fuel pump?

see if you still have this when you fill up.. ... - .- -.

It could still be a dodgy cell

I'd disconnect the battery for a while & see if that resolves it. Next step get the battery tested and/or read the fault codes.

If you have a voltage meter, just check the battery voltage when running and when not running. If the battery or alternator are not in good shape, the voltage may be dropping and generate the usual random faults.

If it was the 1/4 tank issue, you would feel that it won't go as well as it should and a swift left turn would make it better (fuel going over the hump in the tank).

My best bet is voltage i.e. battery and/or alternator or resistance in the cabling/connectors. So I also suggest to check all your connections (battery, earth/ground) for looseness, damage, corrossion etc.

Hope you get it sorted soon Smile MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Thanks guys.

What should the correct voltage be ?

I say I've been a good few long drives however before that the car did sit for a while unused and only on and off to move around in the drive. So I do kind of suspect the battery etc But then that wouldn't cause it to stall would it ? Range Rover Vogue 2006 4.4 AJV8 | Buckingham Blue | Parchment Leather | Supercharged Grill+Side Vents | CA02 HEY ( NOT 02 PLATE )
