Jinx Crivens, you must live in a very low risk area. I thought mine was OK at £400.

That kind of makes me happy, knowing I'm paying higher insurance mainly because of youthfulness..........

For 2 weeks more anyway. I'll be 50 on the 24th Embarassed

For the record it would seem I too am an "old fart" with a good (lucky) driving record living in what must be a low risk area.
However I think its worth mentioning the value of shopping around I ended up with eSure but some of the others were 3 or 4 times more than what I eventually paid.
Last year SWMBO and I were with SAGA but they charged £90 to put my son on her policy for 6 months the auto renewal came through with him still on so we asked for him to be removed saving less that £50 for the whole year she flipped and as a result I googled we saved hundreds of £££s between us.
eSure also applied Multicar discount retrospectively and they throw in personal business use including commuting for nowt - not that I need it Very Happy Geoff

Tesco just quoted me £1785. Shocked

With direct line now for £440. I'm 31.

Steve You remind me of a young me, not much younger mind, perhaps even a little older!

Mine was over £500 but a bit less than my previous D2. I'm older and have a clean liscence and full NCb but share the same postocode prefix as the town centre, even though I liberal 3miles away, so it seems to get bumped up.

I renewed yesterday at £395 (with protected no claims) - I thought it was good value until I've see some of these amazing quotes - I have full no claims, no points and 10k miles per year.
