negotiating longer warranty

Has anyone ever haggled with a dealer for a longer warranty? If so, did it work?

Just thinking if they won't move on the price, potentially might throw an extra years warranty in or something?

They will succumb to warranty negotiation, yes; and you can request the inclusion of a service or couple of services too.

If the car is to be serviced before you get it, also try and negotiate a major service being done too, so that if you do end up the next person to foot the bill for servicing, only a lesser service will be required Thumbs Up

If it's a main dealer, also things like mats, tow bars or anything else that they supply with a mark up Thumbs Up

Yeah it's a main dealer, but they're not really budging on the price (it's a 2013 autobiography with rear exec seating)

It's almost my ideal spec, it's everything is want other than the fact it's got the Wood Veneers and I prefer the Black Piano - but I can live with that. It's a couple of grand more than I want to pay so was hoping they'd haggle, but not moving - so was thinking of potentially going for more add-ons.

I'm not in a massive rush, so if they don't do a deal I'll just sit it out for one with the black inserts.
