MSX5 would be more than adequate for your intended use.

Just a question, interested in getting a CTEK but my battery is a 110Ah, but it says :

The MSX5 is adequate for a 110AH battery according to Ctek themselves although I personally have the MSX7 which gives a bit more leeway.

As I see you have a 2010 TDV8 so I suppose you might have an AGM battery. (adsorbed glass mat)

I looked at the full rnge and went for the MX10 - does everything - I leave it connected for months at a time with no problem. Checked on Ebay and found out by searching the seller (Plymouth batteries I think it was) , got it far cheaper than any listing from their actual website (not their Ebay shop) - next day delivery to ! Cannot recommend it highly enough |

Approx 2010 as a lot left without them but were then recalled and the FBH timer was also reduced as they were killing the battery.

I've just been and checked. The battery is a LR badged Varta and part of the reference labelling says 'AGM' so yep you're right. Does the CTek have to be 'told' the battery is an AGM or does it just do its thing anyway?
