Anything which operates on the fob frequency can cause interference and stop the locking signal getting through, I had it once in waitrose car park in Malvern, think it was something to do with the remote trolley collecting machine, as when that had naffed off it unlocked!

i hope it wasnt caused by a scanner scammer scrote, sucking in your keyfobs signal, -in a van parked nearby...and storing it for dirty trickery..... could you not have tried putting the key in the slot? you know, like your front door at home...?

Had some building work done last year. The lorry delivering the materials had a remotely operated crane thing on it. Couldn't get in my car whilst he was delivering, but once he left, everything worked fine. |

Yep, when I worked at AT&T in Redditch our offices were under a water tower with a load of transmitters on it. Just about every car in the car park was left unlocked - nobody's tweeky locking thing worked |
