Locked out !

Strange thing just happened for the first time , locked the car by remote fob went to pay for fuel and on return fob would not unlock doors ?

After about 12 attempts it unlocked and started as normal

Any ideas why this would happen, fob battery is almost new ?

Cheers

Any overhead power lines around?

I've been told by LR Dealers that it can interfere with the remote.

Anything which operates on the fob frequency can cause interference and stop the locking signal getting through, I had it once in waitrose car park in Malvern, think it was something to do with the remote trolley collecting machine, as when that had naffed off it unlocked!

Unlikely to be the car. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

i hope it wasnt caused by a scanner scammer scrote, sucking in your keyfobs signal, -in a van parked nearby...and storing it for dirty trickery..... could you not have tried putting the key in the slot? you know, like your front door at home...?
maybe your model is too technical for my simple life.. Shocked

Duff Battery in the fob?
Has anyone else noticed the slight delay between pressing a button on the fob and the led lighting up or is it just mine? 2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 on Gas

Shell wifi in particular interferes with the lr remotes.

Had some building work done last year. The lorry delivering the materials had a remotely operated crane thing on it. Couldn't get in my car whilst he was delivering, but once he left, everything worked fine.

Yep, when I worked at AT&T in Redditch our offices were under a water tower with a load of transmitters on it. Just about every car in the car park was left unlocked - nobody's tweeky locking thing worked Laughing
