The sensor bracket was fitted with what i can only describe as a double sided tape! I hasten to add, not like the stuff that holds your number plates on!

I'm on my third windscreen in under a year. The first one that was fitted was a Shatterpruff (or something along those lines) by AutoGlass. Despite them being adamant it was exactly the same it felt noisier and was pretty sure the heated elements looked different, particularly at the bottom.

Just discovered the auto-lights also aren't working terribly well.

Si I had mine replaced by autodials and was given the option of a pilkington one or a pilkington one stamped landrover extra cost was 300 quid so went for the pilkington now they had to replace it twice because of wind noise and on one of those occasions wipers didn't work - I made them replace it and all the trims and told them

I think the non LR screen from pilkington comes with and without the rain sensor so check you have it. Should be obvious of course. |

I have always insisted on genuine LR screen replacements and always take to depot. and always check they have connected the drain pipes under scuttle. Never had a problem and i had a few screens. |
