The diffs take a set quantity of oil, and it seems that this is not enough to make it come out of the holes. Basically there is nowhere for the fluid to go or get used up.

Thought it couldn't go anywhere, but thought like most boxes the oil should trickle out the fill plug, I'll drop the fluids and refill them with the right amount after Xmas . Thanks for that |

The 3.6TDV8 isn't specifically listed. Is it the same as the 3.0L? 2012 5.0L S/C

Thanks! That link is for the rear diff - quantity similar to the 3.0L. Can we assume 3.6L is also similar to the 3.0L for the front? 2012 5.0L S/C

Front diff on tdv8 From rave: 0.75L refill 0.8L from dry. Castrol SAF XO - 75w/90 so same as td6.
