Scotland 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Java Black

In both my Disco 4 and FFRR I leave it in Auto at 20 and that keeps it warm, very occasionally turning it up to 21 and that is in the frozen north 2006 FFRR TDV8 Vogue

Australia 2002 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Barolo Black

Queensland Australia here, if I don't use it, I crackle and die.

Although I have to say I get a big hovering sound of them once in awhile. Turning AC off shuts down the sound immediately. No idea what the issue is.

^ It might be the computermebob thinking it can't cool your condenser enough with its own fan and kicks in the engine fan to help , only a guess but the only other sound the air com makes that you can hear easily is a slight wiring at idle when the gas runs low . 2008 MY Supercharged

I always leave the AC on even in cold places. They also help making the cabin dry reducing/eliminating condensation of the windows (problem we had in northern Sweden at minus 27, AC on, problem solve). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Set to auto but 24/25 degrees otherwise I freeze to death Smile

Note, if the AC doesn't run for an extended period of time, the seals on the compressor especially can dry out and start to leak, losing coolant. That is likely what happened to my 4.2 AC system. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Leave it on. Prevents condensation and keeps the a/c seals tight.

If you are worried about fuel consumption then change you car!!!

so i drove to the west midlands and back, used the temp settings:
AC- On
Auto- On
Temp - 20-22- ( both left and right controls with air vents open) didn't find the car particularly warm.
Moved the temp on both to 25 the car became a little warmer i would describe it as being slightly warmer than tepid. -
am i not doing something right or is there something wrong? 2011 5.0SC Santorini Black

What is the centre vent set to as I have it set to two red spots unless I'm on a long journey and then it goes to one blue spot to keep the interior a little bit cooler. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
