Yes that sounds about right - is there only one and are they easily accessible? CURRENT : FFRR 2012 4.4 TDV8

I think there are a few, but they are relatively easily accessible from underneath. |

stick the FFRR in 4x4 high mode and you can get under without creaking your neck .lol. ... - .- -.

Hi Guys, dont know if this helps but I have the same probs with my TD6, not there all the time but sounds like a very heavy tappet noise, or a loud ball bearing in an aerosol can, have had a couple of places look at it and both say nothing to worry about it.

Finally managed to have a look underneath once the car had reached temperature.

I had the same coming from the front of my TD6, turned out to be loose front brake, backplate/shield. |

I remember having a rattle develop on my old TD6 for no particular reason - turned out to be the heat shield near the bulkhead for the exhaust downpipe had 'warped' and was touching the exhaust - must have been due to heat etc.
