England 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Bonatti Grey

MOT day - £27.

New MOT rules mean there will always be advisories on our cars:

001 Under-trays fitted obscuring some underside components.
002 Engine covers fitted obscuring some components in the engine bay

This basically means that the test centre cannot check what they cannot see. So just say there was a crash followed by accident investigation, should it have been caused by a component that is not visible (because it has a cover over it) then the tester cannot be held responsible. So anyone with a FF that gets an MOT with no advisories, the tester is probably not covering himself! You learn something new every day.

Other than that, all fine. Thumbs Up 2006 4.2 SC

England 2013 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Mariana Black

Took a trip out in the FF with Pete (Haylands) to Retford take a look at a fully preped 1995 Disco for Green-laning...Glad I took Pete along because he spotted the dodgy welding, leaking oil seal , bodged arch repairs and copious quantities of silicone and seam seal that had been applied to "improve" the finish...in all, it was a right shed on wheels and not worthy of the £3+ asking price. GONE 2010 Facelifted 3.6 TDV8 - Stornoway Grey + 22" Overfinch Olympus

Towed the caravan for the first time yesterday after about two months of Range Rover ownership. Well impressed with the capability of the F.F. Found a lovely spot in the caravan club site in Broadway in the cotswolds so I thought I would take an early morning autumnal photo and share it with you all. The building in the background is the old disused broadway railway station that has been renovated and houses the first purpose built caravan as a museum piece called The Wanderer... Has anybody else used this site or seen The Wanderer previously..

Had nothing to do

I decided I've had my S/C for a month now so it needed a wash and vac. Reversed out to driveway and gave it a tub.

Sorry some of the pics are a bit grainy.

Very Happy Thumbs Up

Well finally got the FF home from the docks, sailed through customs no worries took a big jump pack with me expecting the battery to be flat it was the big jump pack would't even turn it over so ended up jumping it from the TD6
started easy then.

Drove it home no worries, on the charger all night, went for its compliance test passed no worries so its now
registered and on the road in NSW Gods country

much nicer to drive than the TD6...........

Drive down to Chudleigh from mid Wales, just to 'plant' my Gran mothers ashes in the family plot with grand dad and there daughter.
Thankfully the Mrs didn't come with me, ....surprisingly nimble the FF is on welsh A roads, not the best to ras around on Whistle , Happy on the M5 by far though Thumbs Up

FF needs a wash now! If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

just drove a whole 5 mile round trip to go Zorbing. (bouncing around on water in a big inflatable ball) part of mates 60th. FF got some well deserved attention in the car park. not happy with such a short journey from cold but hey ho.

You can always tell the jealous ones in the party - didn't even look at the FF.
