Hi ebajema yep I would't live anywhere else Sydney is a great place but there are way too many people for me

I really like the bush you only have to go a few hours out of the CBD and you might not see another soul for days

or the beaches down on the south coast as good as Sydney beaches but far less people.

Next photos the FF in the bush,

drove to bristol, the FF was surprisingly agile in the very tight 'galleries' car park, spent 30 minutes trying to get out of the ikea car park and drove home...

please try and keep this thread on topic chaps. Wink ... - .- -.

Went to Arrochar for the weekend. Torrential rain with loads of big puddles. Took a run over the rest and be thankful and thankfully the rain didn't create any landlslides this time.

Fitted a new battery this morning and cleaned out scuttle panel drains - all three blocked.
Did wonder why wiper spindles were sitting in water. Embarassed

Just got back from driving my daughter back to uni.
Whilst on the M5 had the dreaded 'bong' - check coolant. Pulled over to hard shoulder. Although there was evidence of some coolant leakunder the header tank, there was still pressure in the pipes and a lot of heat in the tank. it bubbled when i started to undo the cap. So I chanced it and got home.

oh the joys. Rolling Eyes

Took the car for an MOT and it passed. I asked the inspector to do a more thorough job than usual, due to the car being stood for two years before I bought it.
Left side headlight slightly low, but other than that, nothing amiss.
On emissions test, he said there was hardly anything to detect.
Just to sort out the water ingress to the boot area (new rear door seal ordered from Dan) and a retro fitted ULF module for the 'phone that needs looking at.

Steve, well worth getting a "water shedder kit" from Dan at the same time sir... They came as standard from 2007> so if you are unsure how to fit it (as its a clear shaped plastic cover) then see if you can find an 07> car to nose in the boot Thumbs Up

In a moment of weakness a couple of weeks ago / too much time looking at ebay, bought & collected this:

Embarrassingly, this was the first time I've towed with this car, and considering I fitted the tow gear, it's the first time it's ever towed. Shocking Embarassed

What's the Nova all about ? - I had one as my first car and have had a yearning for one recently. The problem was finding one that hasn't been nicked/trashed/thrashed/rung/burnt out. This must be the last original one Laughing

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?
