Darren we resorted to using something very similar to that, a plastic fish box we found on a beach, it was a little lower and a lot wider and just about right for the job but not very elegant 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

The side tubes are NO good as steps Tim, you can't get enough foothold and of course they are round and probably slippery when wet.
