UPDATE! The FF got home this afternoon, 3 days earlier than I was expecting. Had it taken direct to main dealer (Greens), and they couldn't have bee more helpful. Will keep you updated about what happens next. At the moment just glad its home!!!!!

Well its update time! At 16:00 hrs BST today , I finaly got the ff back! Its been a long journey but I'm finally there! I have to say Greens Motors in Haverfordwest have been brilliant. I also needed a new flywheel which was broken and a new oil cooler, which we now think was the cause of the problem. At some point in the cars past, the original transmission oil cooler had been replaced with an after market one, and I qoute from the technicians report: "Noted on rebuild, aftermarket oil cooler fitted to vehicle. Found pipes cut and joined together and coolant pipe ends cut off" !!!!!!!!! That'll be the cause then!!!! Watch out!! There are still cowboys about!!!! Any way, glad to have the beast back, even though my wallet has exploded!!!

I'm not one for reserecting old posts but its a year ago today that the bearbox went in switzerland!!! Its been an eventfull ff year...... had to hgave a new drive shaft a couple of months ago!!!. Now all is peacefull.... but for how long!
