England 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

I just got a quote from a place yesterday for one for a mate... All Inc VAT

Cheapest was a fixed ball with single electrics at £341

Detachable ball single electrics £653

This is not a Range Rover one, they use Westfailia but the guy said it was a good one!!

Double electrics was an extra £45 to both...

That was for the same year, spec as yours Pete

Get it all from PF Jones.
They're only in Manchester Smile

Thanks all - it looks like PF Jones - really helpful on the phone told me exactly what I needed which was just about £340 for a Westfalia including the Land Rover twin electrics. Fitting is £150 but the guy advised me to have a go as even if they end up sorting it It'll only cost me £150 so nothing lost.

So now I have a question, where does the towing ECU sit on a 2010MY? a picture is worth a thousand words Very Happy Geoff

hi Geoff,
it will take about 4 hours.
for rear bumper removal
spray/coat the bolts that you are removing with some penetrating oil a couple of hours before hand.
put a jack under the exhaust box before fully dropping.
straightforward after that...
raj
i have a 2011MY so my electrics will need to be taken to dealer to be 'accepted'. 2011 4.4 TdV8 Nara Bronze

Think the electrics fit in the same place as on previous models, I'm not sure but have a feeling they don't have the "fag packet" module and just plug in, could be completely wrong on that tho.

Was going to order mine from pf jones, but in the end my local fitting centre got me one direct from westfalia for a similar price and I got my leccy bits direct from local lr dealer for reasonable price. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Geoff

Mine went next to rear fuse box.

The electrics have nice instructions.

And I'm not a million miles away, if you want a hand Thumbs Up

Hi all,

great thread - just the information I'm looking for as the 2007 TDV8 I pick up tonight is lacking a tow hitch.

Interested Supershuttle that you said

I've just priced it up on PF Jones and it comes to £523.80. Without the electrics it's £380 so wondering if you'd managed to get a top deal or it's gone up that much in the past few weeks? Shocked Very Happy

Thanks Thumbs Up
Beau
