Help! "Selflevel susp. Inact"

Guys and girls,

Just leaving to one hoe from my hols, and once I had hitched the tin tent I used offload height to help clear the jockey wheel. When I got in the car to drive off I had the above message and no lights on the suspension controls. The car is high... How can I clear the fault? Tried fuses and disconnecting the battery for a few mins... Any ideas?

Assume you disconnected the caravan to take the tow electrics out of the equation first? GONE 2010 Facelifted 3.6 TDV8 - Stornoway Grey + 22" Overfinch Olympus

If the system has deactivated and the light is not lit on the adjustment knob, you will not be able to reset it without a diagnostic tool, even if you fix the issue.

Worth checking the filter thing in the linked thread above though.

Thanks guys. My pump is relocated out of its clamshell due to LPG... There is a gold come filter I can see that looks very shiny and clean, but does not have a hex nut on it... Does anyone know does the pump have 2 cone filters or just the one? Ie should I get it all out in searc of the right filter?!

Good advice re needing a reset thanks! Presume that is a stealer job unless anyone has the kit in Sussex or Hampshire I. Exchange for a few beers?

Yes Paul, disconnected electrics and unhitched to ensure it wast the caravan causing the problem...

Just an update... Went in to an independent to be plugged in... Fault codes cleared, problem gone and not able to induce the problem... So perhaps an erroneous sensor signal.... Hey ho...
