fanders : One could do it manually when the export functionality of the live values becomes available. As far as adding it to the App itself, we will have to think about it when we have a bit more free time.

shalz : already replied to your mail. Thumbs Up

Just a quick thumbs up for the guys at GAP. Just got a none BT tool but ran into problems after updating to version 3. Email to them today (Saturday) and an email back from them with a fix (new download) within a couple of hours. All sorted and well impressed with the service. Thumbs Up Cheers Guys

What additional update software is added to the NON BT IId tool V3 from the 2.7? Any benefit to updating? If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

New IID user

Just bought the BT version of the IID tool and have turned off the TPMS system - a bit scary, but fun!

The FF is running great, there were a few fault codes stored so I cleared them and will see if any recur. Is there anything like a 'normal' number of error codes, or should one be aiming at zero?

Thumbs up to the IID guys! Thumbs Up

You can aim for zero, but the chances are slim! Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

you wont get zero, the tpms will show up as four faults even though you have switched it off, but dont worry about that one.. ... - .- -.

OK Stan, so I see others have done it, I'll re word my question, has anyone else had E5 error message while doing the upgrade to the BT ECU, if you have, what did it mean?

Thanks

Did anyone ever find an answer to this?

My 2004 (MY 2005) recognises my phone, a Samsung Galaxy S4, and pairs without any apparent problem. However, when I make a call it rings but when the other end picks up it immediately disconnects and the message "Call Ended" appears.

I have tried re-flashing the ECU using the iiD Tool (BT) but, although it starts the process and indicates 41 minutes duration, after about a minute or less it says that the re-flash has failed. I have tried a couple of times but still no joy and I also have had the E05 message showing.

Anyone any ideas or pointers, please? John

For the Faultmate, they recommend to put a battery charger on the car while doing a re-flash to ensure that the voltage stays high and constant. Maybe worth giving that a try if you haven't done that yet. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Thanks for that. GAP also recommend the same but say that, if the battery has a good charge, it wouldn't be necessary.

My battery is well up and I had just returned from a run but will give it a try later.

Thanks again for the reply. Thumbs Up John

An update. Contacted GAP support and Patrick, once again, came good. Downloaded Beta firmware and Tel ECU Flash worked a treat. Recognises my Samsung S4 GT-19505 and full access to the phonebook.

Happy Bunny.

Great support. Thumbs Up John
