It is rather galling to be treated like a second class citizen just because you didn't buy the BT version

Pete, drop Patrik an email asking to be included in the beta program. He should then create a link for you to install v 3.0 (beta). To be honest, apart from the USB-Laptop thingy (which I am yet to try), I haven't found much difference, apart from having to press the (-) instead of the (+) to move "forward" through the menus. I haven't fully explored things yet, as too busy clearing "reservoir pressure static" faults .

So if I've read that right, multi vehicle will not be supported on the non BT version, as it's not possible, even with the new software release installed ?

Not quite, here's our new VIN lock policy: Standard diagnostic functions (free of charge on any supported vehicles*) • Fault read / clear • Live values • Control outputs • Service / test functions Enhanced diagnostic functions (one free VIN, extra VINs are available if needed*): • ECU Re-flash (when possible) • Component and system calibration (including suspension height adjustments) • Advanced functions including backup / restore, save profiles – vehicle system settings and configurations are read and stored as a backup file for a restore function, various changes to systems (e.g. suspension height) can be stored and changed quickly * IIDTool BT: Can be used on any supported vehicle type (L322, L320, L319...) Regular IIDTool: Can only be used on the same vehicle type the tool was destined for. For example, a regular IIDTool for Range Rover 2006-2009 can only be used on those vehicles. Hope this clears things up. Cheers |

Ah, I read multiple vehicle with a different meaning in your post above. You mean multiple vehicle types.
