Now, how about an idea - since the IID tool can record live data, how about an extension to the IID app to do some form of 'health monitoring', which is commonly used in the aircraft industry (and plenty others no doubt). One could define say 20 key parameters - i.e. engine oil temp and pressure, coolant temp, fuel pressure, etc etc - and every so often (1,000 miles) you could plug your IID tool in and it would record snapshot values of each parameter, possibly averaged in an intelligent way. The app could then produce a standard report showing the trend of these parameters against mileage, allowing early recognition of an adverse trend i.e. slight drop in oil pressure? |

Completed BT upgrade to after getting support from Patrick at GaP. There has been a little modification to the latest software in the last few days (Quote from Patrick) so if you updated your IID tool more than a few days ago it would be worth downloading the latest version if you get an error message while trying to update your BT unit.

Patrick, emailed your support but thought I'd try here if quicker. What setting do I need to put the car in when storing and shipping in a container and where can I find it on the menu?
