No you mistaken there is an adge like a coin not present on pirelli and a few other rounded edge tyres |

That is quite lovely. OK, so the wheels MAY look better in silver but it's still very aesthetically pleasing even in black. I think having a contrasting body colour helps. When the L322 first came out I really wasn't keen on Giverny Green. In fact, when changing ours many years ago the dealer had an ex-demo Giverny Green car that was cheaper then other colours and I remember the salesman saying they were harder to sell as nobody liked the colour.
