2019 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Aintree Green

The steps and flaps hide the profile of the lower edge, which is a nod to the boat-hull shape of the Classic.

Sticking more crap on isn't the way to make something look better (e.g. every body kit, everywhere).

I agree with Trommel, the body kits are not my cup of tea and I wouldn't put the mudflaps on (but won't take them off either).

That doesn't mean I can appreciate a nicely done up car, it is just that I wouldn't spend money on it since I like the original car more. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Flaps, steps off years ago, no tints, my preferred look although as per pic, SWMBO needs ladders to get in Thumbs Up Rolling with laughter

Looks wise I think I prefer it with side steps.

For me, without makes the car look like there is something missing and in need of some sort of side skirt to finish/complete the sill area.

Practicality wise I know I prefer having sidesteps and mudflaps. 2024 P550e Autobiography

As - I think - demonstrated by Stan's post of his and Muttley's, I always think that a RR with protruding steps and mudflaps almost looks more fully laden and rear heavy, as if the back end is hunkered down and the front end is slightly more pointing skywards. Obviously, if you have that perception, it follows that a RR without looks a little more streamlined and toned.

If a vehicle design based on an aerodynamic house brick can look streamlined that is Rolling with laughter

Both styles are very nice and it's also nice, when buying a used car, to be able to choose your favoured colour and spec with or without these additions Thumbs Up

The curve and rising line of the sill toward the rear are a big part of the design, not sure why you'd want to hide it. They aren't supposed to have ground effect.

I see, grammar ambiguous, like flaps as 4 miles up a farm track but personally think steps ruin the clean look and as I must be getting old, I am beginning to like the tint-less look also Thumbs Up as an aside as I look at the photos can anyone identify the car next to the L322, £10 donation to the forum as I couldn't from that picture and its mine Rolling with laughter
