100% Diff/shaft mate......should be covered under LR recalls. If you have nothing nice to say,say nothing at all. |

it has definitely had the diff done as I checked the history out with the main dealer before buying

Yes as above.....mine on my old TD6 was replaced then about 18 months ago had a recall for a "newer" fix FOC.

Oh yes and when they did the recall they refunded all the money I had paid the first time it was replaced so I was very happy about that too If you have nothing nice to say,say nothing at all. |

both have the same symptoms, ie no drive.

I have had 9 I think, and 5 gearboxes

OK ,, if you get under and take a looksey , if you have a UJ at front and rear of the front prop then it has the new prop modification. I doubt this is the case from what you say so far so its likely you only have a UJ at the end where the prop links to the gearbox.
