I'd guess it would go to the emulator itself |

its not normal , if the lpg is set up properly and mapped well it shouldn't need an emulator fitting , its usually fitted by installers whoa re struggling a bit with mapping or the lpg system fitted isn't up to the task.

Well I've cut the unidentified wire and have managed to get some successful connections with my simple ELM bluetooth interface

the lean codes will be what the emulator was masking , now that you've chopped it out (brave without knowing what it was ) you can see them with your reader , are they pending codes or confirmed ? if confirmed they should be lighting up the warning lamp.

I thought I'd take the punt and chop it - I've got a pair of pliers in the car just in case I have to connect it up again whilst on the road!

If they're pending they'll light up the CEL (IF ITS WORKING) after 3 or 4 running cycles of the engine

Just wants a retune...........the reason it probably goes well at 50mph + when accelerating is that the fuel system goes into open loop and does not require the 02 sensors. below that ant the system needs an lpg map and both working sensors. IF the sencors are ok(check the short term fuel trim on your ELM) then the map wants modifying. Which gas system have you got? 5.0 supercharged autobiography
