OK this is not a major problem, but it is winding me up. I have the standard non-touch screen head unit in my MY2003 Vogue.

I have to turn up the volume from Zero everytime I start the car. I have searched the forum but can't find an answer to this. Searched the unit menu for a setting for the volume, no luck there.

Has anyone else come across this annoying problem and solved it?

Also the radio reception is erm, well it's cr p. Does anyone know if the standard system has a signal amplifier fitted or should I invest in one of those on Ebay?
