Yup I got a genuine 26.5 without realising I was being frugal. Just slow traffic on M1 from Midlands to London. I was doing between 50-80 without any blasting. Some of it on "Adaptive Cruise" which I love by the way. I too could never get past 22 on a 4.2 so there is a difference. |

Haven't looked at the fuel consumption on mine but totally agree about the adaptive cruise: it is brilliant, love it to death.

Yep, faster and more economical than the 4.2, mainly due to direct injection and more modern tech on the motor.
