Yes, get your point, but it does take the crud off where previous owners have neglected and the alloys have gone more "gold" in the corners. Perhaps thats just the scrubbing then. Just a way of getting it cleaner at the start of my ownership.

Asked SWMBO for some Mr Muscle Oven Cleaner on the weekly shop, and ran a test on one of my front wheels, which suffered from the dreaded black streaking that you can't wash off.

@neo - If you're thinking that any surface breaks or imperfection might allow the Mr M to go to work underneath and blister the surface from the inside out, then I supposed you could try and protect such areas... unless you're planning on a formal alloy/ cosmetic refurb soon and you could try not protecting as an experiment!

Remember all Mr M is doing is removing dirt, it won't make it shiny unless it is already shiny underneath all the dirt! .

In between times while doing my brakes, I have set to cleaning my wheels with Mr Muscle. The outsides of my wheels are in pretty good nick but with a few brake dust streaks, the insides have probably never been cleaned since new.
