You can indeed buy a terraced house for that money but in reality is even that worth £100,000, after all it's still only a load of old bricks. Agueroooooooooo. 93-20
I swear you will never see anything like this ever again....watch it..drink it in.

Old bricks maybe but market value and you won't lose 50grand in two years, I'd only get one if I had money to burn or company car, but out my own pocket to buy it, just to look 'I'm richer than yow' forget it Thumbs Up _____________________________________________________

So the feeling I get is those who have them think their worth the money and provide a cracking car for £100k, those who don't won them feel their not quite there, in the main. This is what I thought too and I was interested in why people think they are £100k...

If £100k was available to me I'd go with a late 2012 4.4 TDV8 and a Caterham (coz I miss mine lots Big Cry ) Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Its very true and simply I do not feel the new RR justifies a 100k price tag. I would understand if they were market leaders in adding new technology that no other manufacturer had desgined and this would be implemented in all cars in 10 years time like the S Class does.

Lets be honest though, the technology used in the new RR is not exact futureistic and at best is "current"
We already have people who are complaining about knocking and sloshing fuel tanks - THIS just should NOT HAPPEN.

You can give up a 3 month old S350 which is leaps and bounds ahead for around 60-70k

@ Stan, I think there is some truth there...I recall disliking the D3 when it came out but I still bought a 6 month old one and racked up 160k in it, so the wealth thing is usually the key, though many will simply find/fund it one way or another...I am not a fan of finance, if I cant pay for it now I'd rather not have it...old fashioned for a sub 40yr old I know but it's not done me any harm.

100% agree that the big guns in Deutschland have this £100k arena boxed off and sealed up...Audi's A8 is a beauty, the new 7's come with X-drive and the new S-class is 4wd drive too....ALL of them compete with the FF in my view.

I'll tell you what is a consideration, most of us on here are bias...hence we're here....we like the badge Whistle Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Scotland 2009 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Mariana Black

I haven't driven one so my opinion comes from design aesthetics and price only.

Design - to be honest not a great deal of it in my mind they scaled up the evoque front end, added the evoque roof line, put in a little of the evoques rear end and made it capable of off road like a proper Range Rover (from what I read). That's not really 100k worth of design to me, oh and there is too much bling, yes fancy modern tech is nice but try downplay it a little. I parked next to one yesterday and my L322 looked by far the nicer car, even swmbo agreed and she's not as car mad as me.

Aesthetics - it's all together too round, its too bling, it's too any other SUV you see driving about. To me it no longer screams Range Rover.

Price - Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter I think that about covers it! Soon they will price themselves out of their own market at that rate. 09 TDV8 Westminster, Mariana Black, Rear seat entertainment, hatch bag and 2 slobbery mutts

I wonder if there any better built than previous generations ? only time will tell on that one but as the price rises so does expectation. If I look at my L322 at just shy of £77,000 new and then look at the number of issues around like rusty tailgates & bubbling arches it questions my thoughts on keeping mine long term or getting another one. If the price rises from £77 to £100 them my expectations are going to get higher - but have they put it together better with higher quality materials and learnt from the problems with previous models or to use the housing analogy is it a sellers’ market and there charging what they can because there are enough buyers with the money to pay £100 ? (which there clearly are)

In an ideal word I would be able to buy one and change it after 3 years before any issue arise but unfortunately I’m not so I’m seriously considering other options for my next vehicle, unfortunately I just can’t find anything I want more Sad 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

@Machinehead!

That is EXACTLY what I was trying to say! I did get to drive the Sport that my wife had and it felt really cramped inside, in fact, while getting it I cracked my head on the top of the door opening!

It now looks like an Evoque on steroids!

It's worth what the market will pay for it, and they don't seem to have many problems shifting them.
