Super Charger Aux water pump

Guys,

I've got the incorrect wiring problem on my S/C (found after the reduced performance message). There doesn't seem to be enough slack on the loom to lift the connector far enough up to swap the pins over.

Looks like I have to remove the headlight for easy access - is this the case?

firstly, can you fill in your car profile so we know what model/year you have.

secondly , removing the headlight unit is very easy . ... - .- -.

Yes can confirm you need to remove the grill then headlight it's pretty straight forward. Also I would recommend replacing the pump after re pinning it. The difference between theory and reality is that in theory it will work.

why would you recommend replacing the pump ?

it should still be serviceable even if it has been running in the wrong direction

If you look at the Tsb from landrover (it's on here somewhere) it recommends replacing it. As I suppose it's been running backwards all it's life and I would of thought it suddenly changing direction it's not going to last very long I changed mine the other month when I re pinned it. But after testing the old one it wasn't even working anyway. The difference between theory and reality is that in theory it will work.
