Hi guys just popped into Aldi and they have a compressor for sale @£80.its a 2.5hp 7.4 cfm with a 24l tank.does anyone have one of these and if so are they any good.also would this be suitable for my garage at home.i just want to change wheels and other bits and bobs.any help would be greatly appreciated.

The max working pressure of my Wolf one is 116psi, so I would imagine the aldi one is similar, as the other specs are not a million miles off.

They are ok for light work, don't expect them to run air tools for long as they don't produce enough air and you have to wait on the small tank filling up every couple of minutes, they produce a lot of moisture in the pipework as the motor is working all the time. As for blowing truck tyres up to 90psi...it won't happen
