Remote Locking Receiver (photos / diagrams needed)

Since I fixed my rear washer my remote locking hasn't worked. I originally thought that the keys had just got flat batteries or lost the codes so I fitted new batteries and tried to recode but nothing.

I know that the receiver (or I believe I do) is around the rear spoiler area so I may have inadvertently disconnected something but don't have any idea what parts, cables etc... relate to the locking so would appreciate if anyone has pictures of showing the location of the relevant parts so I can check all are connected properly before I try and recode the keys again.

Thanks in advance for your help There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

Possibly just a bit of minor corrosion on the connectors that disconnecting and reconnecting cleared. Thumbs Up

Only problem now is that the radio reception isn't showing the stations so I guess I have to take the rear apart again to check for anything loose radio aerial wise. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

Could be cos you tried re coding the keys and hence have wiped the stations from the memory. Are you getting reception/can you tune it?

Afaik the individual keys remember the settings for that driver and resetting/recoding them has probably wiped all the memorised stations, possibly just need to reprogramme each set of stations to each key.

Just an idea.

I know there was a software update re holding station memories between keys as i had it done on mine. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

All sorted (hopefully) driving to work this morning tuned in manually and while in traffic played with autostore etc... and got station names back and all seemed to store OK. Now just have to see if the work when I next get in. Maybe just my short drive round the corner last night wasn't enough to et everything set up. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t
