You're not on your own ! Last month has seen new oil cooler plus pipes as the connectors disintegrated when trying to re fit them to the cooler. Mega bucks. Then the water leak was traced to the water pump so new pump and thermostat.
There is now a misfire on start up that we can't get to the bottom of. Code comes back as random multiple misfire along with the cylinders affected. Can't be four coils gone at once ?
Last night the low brake pad warning light came on. Pads and discs now required for the front, sooner than expected.

The rest of my wages I'll just burn in the garden. Neutral

When it comes down to a choice between feeding the kids and fixing the car......

The kids will just have to go! Whistle (only kidding, they will be on bread and water)

Didnt do anything in mine the last couple of days managed to get a parking space outside the holiday cottage, too scared to move it, in fear of having to park miles away........ #lazygingerbloke There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Drove to Limoges and back over the last week and used it as a van to haul stuff. Never missed a beat just came back in need of a good wash and vac. So comfy 600+ miles in 12 hours. (Air suspension fault message on most of the time but bump getting off Tunnel train seemed to fix that!) Was thinking of chopping it in for a Disco but not so sure now. Thumbs Up Mine was a blue one! Smile

I cleaned mine thoroughly! The seats were manky with some light scratches, now resealed, new leather coat applied and conditioned. Not to mention a good wash and wax.

It now gleams inside and out Very Happy

Australia 2003 Range Rover HSE Td6 Epsom Green

Since owning my beast from mid February,it has been off the road for approx half of the time. Evil or Very Mad
Had a very comfortable 1400klm drive home. No faults, gearbox was fine.

Going to work was fine(live approx 14k from nearest traffic light Laughing ),but coming home was a different story. It would hunt up and down the box for approx 15k before I cleared all the lights and got into an 80kph zone.
Rang the man that does the gearbox and arranged for it to be done. It sat at home for 2 weeks before he could do it. Big Cry
Took an extra few days as he was putting in a heavy duty converter and they didnt have one on the shelf. Sad
Finally got car back just before Easter....yippee
Went and paid the man and then battery was pretty dead. Crying or Very sad knew it was on the way out,but was hoping it would keep going until I sourced new battery.Got it going and drove home.
The following day,no joy .....battery dead as.. Crying or Very sad
Easter and Anzac day was upon me,so no use trying to get a battery delivered asap.
Finally got a battery delivered the other day(Varta L1) and put her in,connected it all up.
She fired up straight away, did the steering L-R and all is sweet in my world again. Cool

cheers
