caught out they actually are - my sons use the same (h1 and h4) in their respective cars without having any hassles.

any suggestions as to which brand, e.g. phillips,i should use. would like to get hids4u's kit but time won't allow that as I'm going on a 4,000km trip next week and want to have the lights in before then.

try swapping the bulb or ballast with the working side to see which is faulty..

High quality LED kit/replacement light... i.e. Osram do a very nice bright LED/DRL light kit...

if you want maximum forward light projection then halogens are the best bet, you can get 'white' type bulbs that look very close to the 6000k leds/hids..

lights not flickering anymore - solution: put a canceller on as the ballasts are not compatible with the Canbus system of the Range Rover
