Hi gang got a replacement sender unit for passenger side but don't know how to attach the spring loaded part to the left hand side of the tank

well battery fully charged and both pumps running, pump removed from tank and only about a centimetre of fuel in bottom of driver side tank, pass side about four to five cm of fuel.

Hi all just to update you all car now fixed. put more fuel in after replacing pump in tank and under pass side.
