Joe90 - I'm new to the forum so can't PM you but hoping you can help - I've read through your previous post and I know I should be able to work this out but I have a '02 Vogue and I'm trying to get video through the OEM headunit. I can see your picture for the pin out but struggling to understand what and how I need to connect to get a picture.

Simplest way to approach this is to "think" you are just installing a reversing camera.

Composite Video Pos & Neg go to Pins 13 & 14 on the WHITE connector

The video will only show up if you "tell" the car you are "in reverse". This is done by grounding pin 17 on the BLUE connector.

So to be clear if I strip a single phono cable I know I'll have two cables inside - which is which or does it not matter?
Is there a way of getting stereo sound into the main sound system too? I was thinking of plugging in an Xbox.

It does matter. If you strip a phono lead the "pos" should be sheathed, the neg should be just wire around the outside. If in doubt check at the plug.

To get stereo, the best solution is to send off your BM54 unit (Radio) to Baris (on the forum) to get the Aux In fitted to the unit. This can either be sorted so you simply add pins into the BM54 or Baris can fit phonos in the unit.

The alternative is to follow my howto and splice into the tape unit wires. This means you have to select tape on the Bord Monitor to get sound before you activate the video feed (otherwise you can't see what you are doing!)
