Well I cant believe the service I have just had froom DVLA. I had a registration to swap and was dreading it after the closure of the local office, I should not have worried the sawp was the quickest ever. New V5 came back after 7 days and new tax discs and documents arrived 2 days later, Do you think after all these years theres a chance they have got their act together or was i lucky lol.

the local offices are gradually closing down with less and less work to do, thats probably why it was done so quick....when i took my retention slip into the bristol office i was the only one there and they did a new tax disc and mot straight away... ... - .- -.

Sorry if my post read wrong Stan, The local office has closed this was all completed by post direct with Swansea in 9 days !

understood....its a bit like the quick turn round of paying for tax online and receiving via post.. ... - .- -.
