Stick the rubber mats (or similar) under the wheels when you're that close to tarmac. |

Use the rubber mats for such an activity!? I think not, have you checked the cost of them!?

Had exactly the same problem about a month ago. Decided to park on some grass outside a house in a cul-de-sac. This, admittedly, after some exceptionally heavy rain. I drove onto the grass at a crawl and just stopped. Nothing helped.

Oh yes.... BF Goodrich Mud Terrain - caked in mud.. (excuse my mate, someone with a Unimog was playing!) Simex Jungle Trekker Moving from normal AT's to a set of BFG MT's, the difference was like night and day off road, moving from BFG MT's to Simex was an even bigger jump! Matt |

At work we call it green ice. Even with mud terrains, a slight slope on wet grass & it's over. On a big slope we try & head for the longer straggly grass & accelerate down the hill. Otherwise the wheels will lock & you become a passenger in an accelerating sledge
