I know you know all so much more about these cars, so any comments are welcome, it does not matter if you do not like the cherywood..

the only thing I'd be cautious about is the gas conversion - lots of people sell cars with gas problems |

2nd on cautious on lpg but when running right is fine, been running my D1 and Defender 110 on lpg for 12 years + with no real proplems and there single point system, FF's on lpg are a far superior system. And as for the cherry wood, much better then the dark wood IMO |

Robert, just my opinion, looks like a well sorted vehicle, low miles, low ownership great spec, even the wood looks OK with the jet, however my tuppence worth would be 1, LPG 2. The number is no use in La France, I agree history and mileage are king but personally I would walk away |

I just don't get the whole LPG thing and I personally would avoid it like the plague. What it says to me is the car's been run on the cheap, so servicing will have been the minimum he could get away with and it'll have budget tyres etc.

Tyres are always my barometer - all 4 matching and of a decent brand or I walk away. |

Congratulations.... I've read some tripe on this forum but your ill informed and uneducated comments relating to LPG and the vehicle it has been fitted to will take some beating in the years to come. |

Dave, can you expand on your point as a number of us abhor LPG, maybe for the wrong reasons, I personally would never buy any car with it, please enlighten us |

I reckon that's the first non-SC or TDV8 I've seen with terrain response. Looks nice.

The only thing about the LPG (and I run one myself on a BMW 4.4 with no problems) is the jag engine is known for slipped linings on LPG and requires another piece of kit to lubricate it (can't remember the technical term) so would be wary if it did not have it. Other than that looks great and is maybe a grand or so too much but you gets what ya pay for! |
