MOT yesterday. Rear drop link on anti roll bar had excessive play and hand brake in efficient . Why do they put handbrakes on automatics ? Nobody uses them ! Freed off one seized side and adjusted the other. Drop link took a lot of brute force and penetrating oil to get off so suspect it was an original and therefor ten years old.

Figured out that one sensor is broken

polished the exhaust...

and removed the LR leather milk which they applied... ( i trust in swizoil and prefer surfaces to be matt)

I fitted the adjustable roof rack bars and then a Rhino Rack kayak carrier and the found out it was all too tall to drive out of the garage in access height DOOHH Thank god for the IID tool i then lowered access by 30mm all round and it now just fits  2008 MY Supercharged

Fixed the power supply to the RSE dvd player, found that the speakers in the rear doors are shot, then discovered that the speakers I bought off ebay won't fit in the door

Well over the last two days actually, drove From Preston to Dover Friday and then ferry very early morning to Dunkirk, then a drive all the way from there to Chamonix. Rained all the way from Warrington, till about 30km short of Chamonix when it turned into sleet and then fine snow. Car performed great sitting for most of France on cruise control. Really impressed how the sat nav picked up French Traffic news and showed it with the yellow warning arrows.
