vibration at speed

The FF has always had since I bought it a slight vibration when traveling between 55 and 65 mph, some times it's worse than other days, nothing really terrible but it is felt through the front footwells.
There is nothing at 30mph and nothing at 70mph, well nothing can be felt.

Would I be right in thinking prop shafts ?

I have had this kind of thing on my 90 and 110 which where prop related, balance weight had come off, hence me thinking the prop route.

Anyone had simmular experiance ? If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Have you checked wheel balancing? Mine is on 20" & I had the same took them twice to the place that fitted my tyres to no avail so started to think problem then a TPS valve failed & had to make an emergency call Sturgess landrover at Leicester who re-balanced my wheels & guess what? now perfect. makes you wonder on these big wheels can a lot of independents do them properly!! Worse things happen at sea! Well thats what swmbo said when WRENS came to sea!!!

Could be a million things from a bush to a buckled wheel to a propshaft unbalance or doughnut issue... There is no common fault I can think of... But many it could be Neutral

Ok first off then to get wheels checked out, as i'm on 20" wheels as well, but there is no steering wabble at all.
I'll crawl under her tomorrow and see the props if theres any kind of play in them and the doughnut ( I thought V8's had u j's on the props both ends? !)

I know its a bit of ' stab in the dark ' kind of question but thinking I should get this sorted out before the warranty runs out in a few months time Sad If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Laughing Laughing Laughing , I'm sure my head was inside the RR.....not sure the brain was with me.....then I'm not sure I got one.....driving these Green ovals for most of my life and been laid on my back repairing them, you sure got to be mad some what Rolling with laughter

Up date again, while out on a decent run today I can be sure the vibration is no longer there, spent most of the journey at 50/60 mph, I suppose I'd better pay the tyre fitter some beer money for a top job Thumbs Up If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.
