2010 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

I used to have a TD6 L322 when they first came out and even though it was the lowly SE it was still a Range Rover, I was going for a 2010 TDv8 RRS but LR stopped making it and there are very few in the system that I liked the spec of (I HATE black cars and most were Santorini) and then Lookers Park Royal put a 2010 TDv8 Vogue in Stornoway on their website at a price I could afford so I went down last weekend to have a look.......................... I was actually going to wait for an Evoque as I was intending to go down several sizes as 99% of my driving is done without passengers and for certain I will not be able to afford a TDv8 4.4! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

I guess with the newer six cylinder diesel in the D4/RRS it kind of makes the current TDV8 redundant.
It's something like 0.2 seconds slower to 60 and does 4 or 5 mpg more I think.. Question

Either that or they want to keep a gap between the RRS and FFRR.

LR claim the 4.4TDv8 won't go into the RRS................ they said the same of the 3.6 but it made it and was universally acclaimed as the diesel engine the car should have had from day 1. I would say that it is the best car I have ever owned, great fun when you want play silly but a very comfortable (although the suspension is a little hard for one) long haul cruiser and the V8 exhaust rumble when you planted your foot to the floor was addictive if not terribly fuel efficient. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

So that's about 60-62k if you shop around then. Smile

It's a lot of money, but good news if they are keeping the prices about the same.

If only I could... Big Cry

Surprised 6 yrs in an RRS indeed? Whistle

Big!

I brought it up from London to the North East yesterday, via Cheshire.

Averaged about 28mpg, including having a play over the penines on the way. Well impressed with the comfort, I was fed up of the rock solid Msport rattling my teeth out over the bumps.

Very impressed. And it looked good sitting outside my house this morning. Sad, I know. Very Happy Audi A6 3.0 Allroad Quattro
